about

Matthew Bourne – Piano and voice
Steve Davis – Drums and voice
Dave Kane – Double Bass and voice

Recorded in one afternoon session amongst the delectable environs of the lounge, hallway and kitchen-diner of Valley Wood Studios, The Money Notes captures Bourne Davis Kane at their most spontaneous and inventive. Consisting of intensely focused, improvised miniatures along with feature-length originals, this landmark release is sure to delight, displease and disturb in equal measure, as the three musicians go about the Jazz Piano Trio tradition with a scalpel and a sledge-hammer.
